I can understand schools not selling cookies themselves. But banning them[1] from even being brought to school?

Denver news station KMGH-TV reports that preschooler Natalee Pearson told her mom Friday that she wasn’t allowed to eat the cookies in her lunchbox.

The note told parents to pack a nutritious lunch that includes a fruit, vegetable and healthy snack.

Natalee’s mother, Leeza Pearson, says she doesn’t agree with the decision by the Children’s Academy in Aurora.

Show of hands, how many of you were able to eat cookies in school and still wound up healthy and ok?  That’s what I thought.
