If you ever are concerned about the possibility of being kidnapped and tied up, a former CIA agent has revealed techniques used to escape even the tightest of hand restraints. Now, it’s not a guarantee to escape everything[1], but better to have the info than not, right?

Jason Hanson, who worked for the CIA for six years before starting his own security business, showed DailyMail.com two methods of escaping should you find yourself tied up.

The two tactics used include creating space to slip your hands out of a rope restraint or preparing yourself to cut yourself free.

I’ll remember this video when I’m kidnapped. Jokes aside, it was worth the watch. Be prepared I suppose.
