Government Bailouts for Dinosaur Media?

Incredible but true[1]: the government may use money it takes from us by force to bail out the socialist mainstream media, which is going the way of the dinosaurs because ever fewer people will voluntarily subject themselves to the malignant lies it passes off as news.

Unsurprisingly, it’s starting in moonbat-infested New England, where Connecticut legislator Frank Nicastro wants to buy some leverage with taxpayer money by rescuing the Bristol Press and New Britain Herald.

PBS and NPR have proven for years that government involvement in the media leads to liberal elite pabulum, of no interest to the general public that is forced to pay for it. An example of the corruption that can be expected has already been provided by Governor Blago, who demanded that certain members of the Chicago Tribune’s editorial board be canned in exchange for government largesse[2].

But the media just got a guy with no serious qualifications elected president. It’s going to expect something in return. After all, we’re playing by Chicago rules now.
