In the aftermath of the tragic terror in Orlando this past weekend, a trend has started to reflect in gun sales. They are skyrocketing in the LGBT community. Obama has never been a sitting duck in the face of terror with nothing but his two feet to save him. He does not understand fully that taking a person’s right to protect themselves is an absolute nightmare for those that understand what it’s like to be sheep among wolves. This is what has happened since this weekend…[1]

From Louder with Crowder:

Gun sales spiking after a tragedy isn’t shocking, Unless you’re a liberal blogger or on the editorial team of the New York Times, when something bad happens your first thought is how best to protect yourself and your family.

What makes it different in this case? A lot of those sale are coming from the LGBT community…

However, what’s different this time around is the clientele. Mike Smith, a firearms instructor in Colorado Springs, is one of many closely tracking the sudden surge in gays and lesbians buying weapons.

“I think right now because of what happened, people are looking for answers,” he said. “You walk into a gun shop and you expect to see people, frankly, who look like me. I think we forget we’re a country of all people, not just people who fit that predetermined mold.”

The Pink Pistols is a national gun club for gays and lesbians. It saw its membership soar from about 1,500 members on Saturday to 3,500 on Monday.

Dozens of new chapters are springing up, including one Smith is creating in Colorado Springs. He said it’s something he feels compelled to do, even though he’s heterosexual.

It looks like people are taking our advice. You also have gay gun rights groups like the Pink Pistols seeing a surge in their membership. We’re not using hyperbole here. When we say SURGE, we mean in three days, the Pink Pistols gained 2,000 new members. Bearing in mind the LGBT community makes up, at most, 3.8% of the population, that’s a monumental number.

Which means across the country, the answer to the question might actually be “Not happy to see you. It’s a giant gun…”

Seriously though, if this attack is not enough innocent lives lost to show how much we need to protect ourselves, then what is? That’s 49 lives lost! What will it take? 100? 200? An entire nation?
