Gun Shop Takes Stand After Residents Get ‘Offended’ by Its Name: ‘We Won’t Be Moving’

I haven’t enjoyed a euphemism like this since Van Halen named their record “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.” People from Wisconsin are upset that a local gun shop is named[1]…F-Bomb Ordnance.

Dr. Geoff Gorres, co-owner of F-Bomb Ordnance, responded defiantly to the backlash.

“But we don’t control how other people are offended. There are a lot of things that offend me in America, and I just have to deal with them,” he said, according to the Pioneer Press.

He added, “We won’t be changing our name. We won’t be moving. And I think it’s unlikely that we’ll be changing our signage in the near future.”

He went on to say that he believes this is all about the fact that his business sells guns. Had the company been called “F-Bomb Records,” he doesn’t think there’d be any complaints.
