Huma Buckles Down: Claims She Didn’t Know Husband’s Device Contained Clinton Emails

Whether this version of the story will stick or not, there’s another claim to why there were Clinton scandal emails on Huma Abedin’s estranged husband’s laptop. The new story is that her lawyer has thrown a new angle into the whole probe – that is she never used the laptop seized by the FBI where the messages were found.

In a spectacular twist of reality, Abedin’s newly-hired attorney claimed that the laptop was exclusively in the control of the scandalous and serious sex-addict, Anthony Weiner.

The claim on Abedin’s behalf increases the confusion of how emails germane to the Clinton server investigation could even end up on a totally separate computer. A bit strange.

First reports had advised the device was shared by Abedin and Weiner before their separation. But Karen Dunn spoke with the press and claimed that it was not.

Dunn is a political insider that trained up Clinton for her debate preparation to go head to head with Donald Trump – she claimed that Abedin only discovered the FBI’s breaking story on Friday.

She claimed that Abedin only knew about the reports, ‘from press reports of the possibility that a laptop belonging to Mr. Weiner could contain emails of hers. While the FBI has not contacted us about this, Ms. Abedin will continue to be, as she always has been, forthcoming and cooperative, from the beginning, Ms. Abedin has complied fully and voluntarily with State Department and law enforcement requests, including sitting for hours-long interviews and providing her work-related and potentially work-related documents.’

Abedin’s personal and political future is murky at the very best, as evidence of her hiring Dunn’s services.

If the evidence is produced that Huma actually knew about the classified information, she could face prosecution with the possibility of prison, and she may also face a perjury probe over her confirmation under oath that she had released all pertinent devices to the FBI the first go-around.

Murky at best, indeed.
