Iran Is Building 2 New Nuke Plants, But Don’t Worry, They Promised To Follow Rules…Except, For When They Don’t

Iran is on the uppity up and moving forward with their plans to build TWO new nuke plants, with all the money they have now[1]…oh joy.

The head of Iran’s atomic energy organization announced on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic, with assistance from Russia and China, will move forward on the construction of two new nuclear power plants, according to comments published in Iranian state-controlled media.

Ali Akbar Salehi, who heads the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, told Iranian reporters that construction on these new nuclear plants will begin in the “near future,” according to Fars News Agency.

“Construction of two 1000-MW power plants will start soon,” Salehi was quoted as saying. “We will build two other small power plants too in cooperation with China,” he added.

A handful of European and Asian countries have expressed renewed interest in cooperating with Iran to help develop its nuclear industry now that the landmark nuclear agreement has been implemented, according to Salehi.

“Certain European and Asian states, including China, Japan and South Korea, are ready for cooperation, and conditions have changed compared with the past,” Salehi said.

Iran is permitted under the nuclear agreement, as well as by the United Nations, to continue building nuclear reactors, despite worries from some experts that the technology could be used to clandestinely continue weapons research.

“In general, the construction of light water nuclear reactors is not prohibited by U.N. Security Council resolutions, nor does it violate the JPOA,” the official said at the time.

Meanwhile, Iran is reportedly considering building an oil refinery in Spain that has the capability to produce 200,000 barrels a day.

A few facts…

The current president of Iran, Hasan Rouhani, boasted in a television interview in 2013 that he had participated in violating the 2003 Tehran Declaration by which Iran was supposed to suspend their nuclear program. No such thing had happened, Rouhani declared proudly, because despite their protestations of cooperation to a visiting European delegation, “We did not let that happen!”[3]

While the nuclear negotiations were ongoing, Iranian commander Mohammad Reza Naghdi, the head of the Basij paramilitary forces, announced: “The destruction of Israel is non-negotiable.”

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei tweeted that “God willing” there would be no Israel in 25 years, and that those years would be made miserable for Israel because of constant attacks by jihadists. Khamenei illustrated the tweet with a picture of himself walking on an Israeli flag, in case there was any doubt about his message.

And then there’s this….

Ayatollah Khamenei released a video proclaiming Iran’s ability to defeat the United States in battle, featuring a simulated storming of an American vessel and affirming Tehran’s support for the terrorist militia Hezbollah.

So it begins…

People that have chanted DEATH TO AMERICA could be making their dream come true right now. Yes, we are told that the Iran deal has Iran “promising” not to do such things…and apparently their promise is reliable because they are not liars..OR we will just magically and by some greater ability, know if they are lying… Does that sound like a iron clad safe plan? Of course not…because Obama is an idiot, and he wants to take them for their word.
