Kind Target Employee Teaches Young Man How to Tie a Tie for Job Interview

tie[1]When a teenager stopped by Target looking for a clip-on tie for a job interview, he got two surprises. The first wasn’t a good surprise – Target did not have any, only regular ties, and the teen did not know how to fasten one. The second surprise, however, was touching and made his job interview. A Target employee taught him how to fasten a tie, then even helped him with practice questions for the interview and shaking hands.[2]

A shopper named Audrey captured the whole thing on camera, posting it on her Facebook page, USA Today reports:

“As the kid exited the store, a bunch of supportive Target team members cheered him on!” she wrote on the Facebook page.

The photo, as of this writing, has more than 40,000 likes and almost 3,000 shares.

“I was in Target while the employees were helping this young man,” another shopper, Burnita Matthews, commented on the photo. “This picture cannot convey the warmth and kindness in their voices as they worked with him.”

Just when you thought society was completely going downhill in terms of rudeness and selfishness, a wonderful story like this pops up to reassure your faith in the human race. Keep up the kind deeds Americans, that’s who we really are.
