Lawmaker Introduces Bill To BAN THE BURKA – Anti-Trump Protesters Will IMPLODE! [VIDEO]

There’s a Georgia state lawmaker who has introduced a bill that would outlaw any woman from wearing a burka out in public. The burka is a head-dress that Muslim women[1] wear to cover their heads, face and even eyes, depending on the type used.

Republican Jason Spencer (180th District, Woodbine) was moved by his constituents to do such a thing out of fear of ‘terrorism’. This new bill would also not allow the headdress to be worn when taking their photo for a driver’s license, or even driving in a vehicle.

Spencer is also looking to edit the bill a bit by adding the words hijab and niqab, which are also names for the headdress. This new bill if passed, according to him, would join the state’s anti-Ku Klux Klan laws meant to stop Klan members from wearing hoods and other masks to conceal their identity.

The Republican lawmaker was adamant that the steps he was taking would outwit the movements of possible terrorists.

Spencer explained, “This bill is simply a response to constituents that do have concerns of the rise of Islamic terrorism, and we in the State of Georgia do not want our laws used against us.”

But Spencer also claimed that the bill would have a great effect on public safety itself: “Number one, you’re not a public safety risk by blocking and obstructing your vision while on the road, but also that you’re identifiable to law enforcement.”

The new edition of the bill would read as follows:

‘A person is guilty of a misdemeanor when he or she wears a mask, hood, or device by which any portion of the face is so hidden, concealed or covered as to conceal the identity of the wearer and is upon any public way or public property or upon the private property of another without the written permission of the owner or occupier of the property to do so.’
