Liberal CNN Commentator close to tears as a TSA agent lifts up her dress and ‘feels her genitals’ [VIDEO]

Gee, it’s almost like conservatives said that the TSA was a severe invasion of privacy and liberals said “it’s for your own good” and mocked us.

But I guess now that it’s happening to THEM it’s unacceptable. It would almost be funny if it wasn’t so sad.

Angela Rye, CNN commentator, was going through airport security when she was told she had to undergo additional screening. The scanners had alerted to three areas between her legs, near her genitals.

Rye protested and an officer was called to escort her from the airport. Instead, Rye had the officer record the pat-down, which was done in public.

According to The Daily Mail[2], “her dress was lifted up and her genitals were hit.” After the ordeal was over, Rye stepped into her shoes and burst into tears.

‘I didn’t care about anything but one place on my body,’ Rye wrote in an op-ed about the incident for CNN.

‘I said in complete disbelief: “You know you aren’t patting down my vagina, right? Like that’s not happening.'”

But the TSA officer said she had to unless her supervisor said otherwise. The supervisor then said he would call his manager.

‘I repeated my protests: I have a Homeland Security background. This is a severe violation of my privacy and civil liberties,’ Rye wrote.

‘Please just let me get the scan again. I do not want my vagina patted.’

Rye said the TSA agent then began to insist that it was a ‘backhanded pat around the upper thigh’.

The manager then informed her that she would be escorted out of the airport, and miss her flight to New York, if she did not go through with it.

Rye said the manager grew increasingly frustrated with her when she asked if she could take a picture of the screen that showed ‘three overlaid yellow boxes between my legs’.

I feel for this woman, because I wouldn’t ever want to be patted down in front of a bunch of strangers and certainly wouldn’t want anyone with their hands around my genitals. (Apparently no doesn’t mean no when someone gives you a badge.)

This is yet another example of the incredibly ridiculous over-reaching TSA and their ability to invade our privacy on a whim. The fact that it happened to someone at CNN means that we finally have a platform for our concerns. It’s sad that this is what it took, but better late than never.
