Liberals Demand Child Welfare Probe After Father Teaches Daughter to Hunt [VIDEO]

The hallmark of modern liberal ideology is one of cultural fascism. While they often posture as proponents of tolerance, modern liberals often demand complete cultural and political uniformity in line with their world viewpoint. Case-in-point: after posting pictures of the father and daughter hunting, a family has received palpable backlash from the oh-so-tolerant left with some even demanding government intervention to investigate the family for child abuse as a result of the shared hobby.

From the Mirror:

The parents of 12-year-old girl serial trophy hunter who posted pictures of herself celebrating killing a giraffe have been condemned with some calling for them to be investigated by child services.

Aryanna Gourdin took to social media following her week-long hunt in South Africa during which she and father killed more than a dozen wild animals .

The schoolgirl, who has hunted since the age of seven, boasted of taking a giraffe, wildebeest, impala and zebra, while her dad posted pictures alongside a huge eland antelope he had killed.

But as pressure mounts on Aryanna’s parents to stop her from taking part in the hunts, Eli, 43, has hit back.

He said: “I don’t tell anyone else how to raise their children.

“They don’t understand the conservation aspect of it.

“We’re proud to be hunters and we’ll never apologise for being a hunter.”

The family, including Aryanna’s mum Katie, 39, and her siblings, have hunted big game all over the world importing their kills back to the US.

The giraffe and zebra the pre-teen killed are due to arrive at the family’s home in Cove, Utah, shortly.

They say each of the animals are more than just trophies.

“They’re more than that, they’re memories,” Gourdin added.

“Every single animal will have a story and it’s something we’ll pass on to generation to generation.”

Discussing the threats the family have received he added: “I’d hope people aren’t as shallow as that, that they value the animal’s life over hers or over any animal for that matter.”

But since making her pictures public and taking to national television to defend her actions thousands have condemned Aryanna’s parents for teaching her to kill.

Outraged people have demanded child welfare services be called in to assess the family.

Brent Hooey wrote on Twitter: “Eli Gourdin should be reported to child services. Takes his daughter trophy hunting in Africa. Bows & Pink Arrows.

Really?”

Other contacted the Gourdins directly through the schoolgirl’s Facebook page called Braids and Bows.

Alyssa Huggins told her: “Your rationale for hunting these beautiful animals is incredibly sickening.

“At 12-years-old and not an adult, I can only blame your parents and those who have brainwashed you into thinking your funds are for the good of the conservation.

“If you want to help conserve, raise funds or donate. Don’t kill. It’s a sad, sad state when you believe that senseless killing is OK.

“I truly hope that one day you will gain a more mature and progressive perspective. My heart hurts for these animals whose lives you’ve taken.”

Leah Flynn added: “Anyone on the planet could shoot a giraffe, but most of us don’t because we realise the importance of LIFE.

“Sadly your Dad has failed in teaching you that. Grow up and learn from others. Your dad is a douchebag.”

Heather Scarsbrook wrote: “I blame your parents for having no empathy for another living soul, be it man or beast.

“I hope that in time you take into consideration that you actually physically hurt that poor defenceless giraffe and ended its life.

“I hope you learn to love every living creature for ur own sake and theirs… I feel shame for you and I don’t even know you.

“I hope you feel ashamed of yourself as well and learn to change and do better things with your “dad”.

Many are often surprised when I reveal that despite my unapologetic love of all things firearm-related, I am not a hunter, nor have I ever been. Frankly, I get my meat from the store and this system has suited me well.

With that having been said, however, it’s important to note that hunting is a perfectly natural thing that has sustained our species since the dawn of mankind and while I choose to abstain from the hobby/necessity, I welcome any and all to enjoy the sport safely so long as such hunters accept my choice to not hunt.

Then again, I’m not a liberal and seem to be missing the intolerant gene that infects so many leftists…
