Matt Drudge Pancakes Jan Schakowsky

Matt Drudge over at The Drudge Report[1] doesn’t do commentary, but he does remember all the news headlines from years past.

…..And when someone, usually Democrats — because they’re used to being given a free pass for their foibles — does something that’s outrageously hypocritical, Drudge loves nothing more than to pancake them by printing their latest dumb comments with past headlines that make them look like jackasses.

Speaking of jackasses, here’s what Democratic Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.)[2],

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) blasted “tea party” protests yesterday, labeling the activities “despicable” and shameful.”

“The ‘tea parties’ being held today by groups of right-wing activists, and fueled by FOX News Channel, are an effort to mislead the public about the Obama economic plan that cuts taxes for 95 percent of Americans and creates 3.5 million jobs,” Schakowsky said in a statement.

“It’s despicable that right-wing Republicans would attempt to cheapen a significant, honorable moment of American history with a shameful political stunt,” she added. “Not a single American household or business will be taxed at a higher rate this year. Made to look like a grassroots uprising, this is an Obama bashing party promoted by corporate interests, as well as Republican lobbyists and politicians.”

People who are upset about taxes and the largest tax increase in history, one that will hit the poor and middle class hard, Obama’s cap and tax plan — are “despicable” and “shameful.” Why, how dare these people complain about Obama destroying the future of this country in order to reward his political allies! Don’t these Tea Party curs have any loyalty to their masters in Washington?

So, that’s the Schakowsky line. Now, here’s the Drudge pancake,

Drudge pancakes Schakowsky

Wow, with a husband like that, I’m surprised Schakowsky hasn’t been offered a position in the Obama administration.
