And so it begins. The media is officially looking for any reason to be upset at Trump’s Presidency and he hasn’t even taken office yet!
Trump attended a meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister this week and his “guest” has the mainstream media howling like wounded wolves. It would be much funnier if it wasn’t just plain sad.

Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner sat in on her father’s meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and for some reason, this is driving the press batty.
Mother Jones can always be trusted to give a disproportionately dramatic reaction to the situation at hand. They did not disappoint.

Keith Olbermann, who I just realized is still alive, had some choice (and profane) words for Trump.
Attention @realDonaldTrump[5]. Nobody else in your family was "elected." Get your daughter THE FUCK OUT OF STATE MEETINGS https://t.co/rycqDeaFhU[6]

Many were worried that because Ivanka is going to be running her father’s companies during his term, there would be a severe conflict of interest by having her sit in on the meeting.
Why Ivanka Trump sitting in on that meeting with Japan's PM is a big no-no: It's mixing business with diplomacy https://t.co/AEpvFsUgKW[8]

Ivanka Trump, responsible for running Trump businesses, sits in on meeting with a foreign power. Conflict of interest is an understatement. https://t.co/XcpETIXydY[10]

If the kids are controlling the business, why are Ivanka and her husband at a meeting with the Japanese PM? video: https://t.co/Vzz83dp6Op[12]

has any journalist asked Trump team to provide an official explanation for why Ivanka attended that meeting?

Ivanka Trump, who will be running her father’s business in 62 days, sat in on his meeting with Shinzo Abe https://t.co/T5G9Fep9te[15]

The only logical argument would be the conflict of interest claims, but what say you? Should she have refrained from attending the meeting simply because of how it would look to the press?
