We all need a break once in a while. With the world being such a seemingly harsh place, we must cling to acts of kindness and remember that there still are good people in this world. One woman discovered this fact firsthand.
Thanks to the thoughtful act of a stranger named “Laura,” a mother with a newborn baby in the hospital was spared more bad news, writes Opposing Views.
The unidentified mother found a ticket on her car, which was parked at the hospital. Along with the ticket was a note.
She shared a photo of the ticket and the note on a Facebook group, Canberra Mums:
The note attached to the ticket reads, in part:
I saw your car had a parking ticket on it, I’m sure whatever you are going through at hospital is tough enough so I have paid it for you…Hope things get better.
While the grateful recipient expressed her appreciation, there is no word if “Laura” is aware that her simple act of kindness has touched so many people. At the time of this writing, the post had been shared over 5,700 times.
Hopefully, the mother will pay it forward.
