Sen. Edward M. Kennedy: No Words Can Ever Express The Meaning of His Legacy

Senator Kennedy’s incomparable contributions to American foreign policy[1], for example, might inspire gasping astonishment to those who have been unaware of the memorable behind-the-scenes role the Massachusetts Democrat played in the Cold War.

Today, of all days, Americans should lay aside partisanship and ideology to pay resepctful remembrance to a Democrat who did so much to shape the Kennedy family legacy. But while words fail to capture the true meaning of this moment, some say a picture is worth a thousand words[2] . . .
