SHOCKING VIDEO: Man Rescues Baby In Runaway Stroller From Landing in a Ditch

When one man, busy on his cellphone, realizes there is an occupied stroller speeding toward a ditch, he jumps into action. This heart-stopping video shows the moment a gentleman saves a baby from potential injury, and then carries him to safety.[1]

The video starts out quite mundane, showing every-day street footage. In the lower left-hand corner, a man who appears to be on his phone, is seen pacing. He turns around just in time to note the high-speed stroller racing toward the road. He sprints after it, catching up to it in the middle of the street. He reaches out to stop it and the child is flung the rest of the width of the street. The man runs to pick the baby up and walks back to the safer side of the road, appearing to look around for a mother.

I don’t know if the child suffered any serious injuries, but thanks to a good samaritan who was in the right place at the right time, he or she was saved from what could have been a potentially deadly situation. One questions remains, however, and that is: Where the heck was this baby’s mother?
