Something About Miranda Lambert’s Outfit Last Night Had LOTS of People Talking…

Miranda Lambert certainly made an impression at the Academy of County Music Awards…tongues were no doubt wagging. Did you see what she wore? GORGEOUS!

First, there was her gown with a deeply plunging neckline:

And there was the fact she was appearing on the red carpet with country music singer boyfriend Anderson East:

But what really grabbed some attention was what the country music star was wearing on her feet:

The hot pink gun-and-holster shoes reportedly cost $829. Featuring a toy gun, the stilettos are made by Joyce Echols and named “Come and Take It.”

Lambert also grabbed some headlines with her Female Vocalist of the Year win, her seventh year in a row.

Despite some anti-gun sentiment across the nation, there were a tremendous amount of compliments about her footwear from the public:

Lambert has publicly spoken about the fact she ‘packs heat‘, telling SELF magazine in regards to things she won’t apologize for: “I carry a weapon. I got a death threat a few years ago and was really scared. But I don’t want bodyguards. I am my own security.”
