States Come Together to Defy Obama Agenda

It was November of 2014 that President Barack Obama changed the laws regarding immigration. He announced this by introducing the creation and implementation of the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans…basically giving amnesty for illegal immigrant parents that have U.S. children… Now it appears, he may have to answer for this…

U.S. President Barack Obama Visits Connecticut Town Where Massacre Still Fresh

From the Conservative Tribune:

The state of Texas led the charge against this unconstitutional action by the president, winning an injunction in federal district court that was upheld by a circuit appeals court.

Now, 26 of the 50 states, still led by Texas and Attorney General Ken Paxton, are set to square off against the Obama administration in the Supreme Court, having just filed a brief containing their arguments with the court on Monday, according to the Houston Chronicle.

“The Obama Administration has consistently demonstrated disregard for the rule of law in asserting that it has the legal authority to unilaterally change the immigration policy of the United States,” read a statement from Paxton.

The 99-page legal brief essentially makes the case that Obama’s unilateral actions place an undue economic burden on the states by compelling them to issue drivers licenses and other benefits to individuals in the country illegally, among other problems..

It also argues that Obama has violated the Administrative Procedure Act by announcing sweeping changes to a law without the input of Congress or comments from the public, as is required by the statute.

Obama…please make an exit.
