TRAGIC: 6 Year-Old South Carolina Elementary School Shooting Victim Dies [VIDEO]

Last week a 14 year-old teen with murder on his mind and a gun in his hands drove to Townville Elementary School playground in Upstate South Carolina and opened fire. He hit two 6 year-old boys and a teacher. One of those precious boys died Saturday, having sustained a bullet to the femoral artery and fatal blood loss. That young man is Jacob Hall, a boy who loved God and loved life. Scroll down for video.

His family is brokenhearted, but talking of forgiveness, knowing that is what little Jacob would have wanted.

Renae Hall, Jacob’s mother, said that her son was “going to make a difference” and that “we were brought to this world to love each other, not to hate.”

“Jacob was an angel who was brought to this earth to show love, to show kindness, to show forgiveness,” Hall said.

“Jacob was forgiving. What happened to Jacob, Jacob forgives already,” she added. “He’s in heaven smiling down at us, and he’s asking his mommy to be able to be strong to forgive just like he would have.”

She spoke of Jacob and how he “loved God” and “he was not afraid to go home to God.” Jacob often told his mother to pray when things were going badly.

“There’s good people in this world, and it took my son’s death to realize that,” she said.

Jacob and his family exemplify true forgiveness and a true representation of the love of God. Scripture tells us in Romans 5:8 that “God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Jacob’s mother is showing her faith is real and that it informs her actions. It cannot be easy to forgive the person who killed your child. But she appears to be on her way to doing just that. May God bless and keep you Renae Hall and all those who loved Jacob. You have brought beauty from ashes.
