Trump Might Not Need A Wall – Illegals Lose Desire To Cross, Knowing He’s Become President-elect!

One of the biggest concerns with this election is the immigration debate.[2]

In no possible form has Donald Trump been discreet about his feelings concerning immigration, especially when it comes to the Mexican border. We are all familiar with his claim that he is going to build a wall and Mexico is going to pay for it.

For instance he said all of this:

“I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me — and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

And this:

“I do business with the Mexican people, but you have people coming through the border that are from all over. And they’re bad. They’re really bad. You have people coming in, and I’m not just saying Mexicans, I’m talking about people that are from all over that are killers and rapists and they’re coming into this country.”

And of course this too:

“We must have strong borders and not let illegal immigrants enter the United States. As has been stated continuously in the press, people are pouring across our borders unabated. Public reports routinely state great amounts of crime are being committed by illegal immigrants.”

He has been unafraid to express his feelings. And his message has been heard by more than just Americans. Many immigrants and other individuals who have considered coming to America have questioned whether they should be here with Trump president. So, it looks like his election alone may have done a great deal in deterring immigrants from coming into the country illegally.

But are his policies too harsh? Or is it necessary to preserve the country? The jury is still out on that, but it sure seems like Donald Trump is making a difference.
