For those who don’t know yet, Donald Trump is on tour to thank the American people for making him the next President of the United states. He’s definitely showing a lot of respect and knows exactly who put him in the White House.

He also made a quick detour from what is being known as his “Thank You Tour” to visit the victims of the terror attack on the Ohio State University campus.

Donald Trump was supposed to be headed to Iowa to introduce Governor Terry Branstad as our next Ambassador to China, but instead decided to take a moment to meet with the victims of the Ohio State University terror attack, as well as their families.

Undoubtedly, this is something we should be seeing in a leader who wants the nation to heal after such a shocking attack.

The NY Post[2] covered Trump’s trip:

Trump flew to Columbus to meet with several people who were slashed by Ohio State student Abdul Razak Ali Artan. Artan, 18, first rammed a campus crowd with his car before getting out with a knife and stabbing students before being fatally shot by police. The president-elect spent about 30 minutes with some of the victims and their families.

“These are great people, amazing people,” said Trump, who also paid tribute to the first responders who tended to the victims and shot the attacker. “The families have come through this so well.”

He’s already shown more respect for Americans than Obama could muster in his entire 8 years in office. And Trump isn’t even President yet!

I wasn’t a fan of Trump during his campaign, but I have to admit that this is pretty awesome. He is definitely on his way to winning me over.
