The UN Is Demanding America Pay Black People. Because…SLAVERY!?

Oh, here we go again. Someone who doesn’t know anything about America or Americans trying to tell us what we should do with our own money.

Because they see what is going on in America and they wholeheartedly believe that it’s racism and a direct result of the slavery that took place in America. You know, as if that is somehow your fault, or that today’s African Americans were somehow oppressed or enslaved.

Yeah, I know, but you really shouldn’t roll your eyes that hard, you might hurt yourself.

The history of slavery in the United States justifies reparations for African Americans, argues a recent report. The conclusion was part of a study by the United Nations’ Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent.

“The legacy of colonial history, enslavement, racial subordination and segregation, racial terrorism and racial inequality in the United States remains a serious challenge…” the report stated. “Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching.”

The reparations could come in a variety forms, according to the panel, including a “formal apology, health initiatives, educational opportunities… psychological rehabilitation, technology transfer and financial support, and debt cancellation.”

So. Obamacare and Affirmative Action were what? No seriously, I want to know. Or did we not go far enough to appease them?

Psychological rehabilitation? That’s just offensive to people who actually need mental help. You aren’t traumatized by something your great grandparents went through, sorry, not sorry.

Technology transfer? What the heck does that even mean?

Financial support? They get the same financial welfare everyone else does, plus special scholarships simply for being black.

Debt cancellation? Okay, you’re just being stupid right now. Personal responsibility still exists, no matter how deep your skin color is. That’s not reparations, that’s favorable treatment which is NOT acceptable in the 21st century.
