Bravo Dr. Carson.. Bravo! Ben Carson says what many people have been thinking.
Various people in the Conservative or Republican factions of the American political Right have called for Obama’s impeachment, but the established Republicans laugh it off. Why? Because they’re RINOS, Republicans In Name Only. This is why people like Speaker Boehner won’t don’t anything ever like defend the Constitution.
Maybe because no one has called for this that has had the gravitas of Ben Carson.
Mr. Carson was on American Forum discussing how he thought the funding for Homeland Security should be handled. He favors doling out the funding and not just in one lump sum.
Here’s his reasoning in his own words:
“I would say break the funding for Homeland Security up into parcels. Don’t present it as a whole bill. That makes it much more difficult for him to stand in the way,” Carson began. “And, if he does stand in the way, particularly with things that are vital to the security of this county, then I think we can start talking about treason.”
He catches J.D. Hayworth off guard with the treason and he has to repeat himself.
“If things are done that are on the contrary to the security of this country, whoever does them is guilty of treason,”
That took guts to say. And you know liberals are going to have a field day with this. But Ben Carson is right. For the duration of President Obama’s two terms securing our borders, especially the southern one, has NOT been a priority of his whatsoever.
Although President Obama won’t participate in the 2016 debates, it sure would be great to watch Ben Carson take on and intellectually challenge the President.
The path this President is taking us down is not one that ends well for anyone. We need more people like Ben Carson to speak up to stop Obama in his tracks.
