You’d Probably Do Cocaine, Too, If You Were Joe Biden’s Daughter…

….Okay, not really. And to be perfectly honest, I don’t even care all that much that Biden’s daughter may be doing as much blow as our President, Changey McCokehead, did in his early years (Or may still be doing for all we know. It would explain a lot).

However, if Sarah Palin’s family is fair game for the media, then Joe Biden’s daughter certainly is as well,

A decade before a friend came forward trying to sell a video that he claimed showed her snorting cocaine, Vice President Joseph Biden’s daughter was busted for pot possession.

Ashley Biden “was a hot freshman that every guy wanted to be with,” said Nat Berman, a Tulane University classmate, who said he bailed Ashley out of jail after her 1999 marijuana arrest in New Orleans, for which no conviction was recorded.

…New Orleans court records confirm Ashley’s September 1999 marijuana-possession arrest but do not detail any conviction.

Ashley, 27, is now at the center of a scandal rocking Washington and Delaware, which her anti-drug dad had represented as US senator for decades prior to being elected as President Obama’s vice president.

Recently, a man claiming to be a “friend” of Ashley’s had two lawyers speak to The Post — and other media outlets — offering for sale a videotape that he claimed was made earlier this month during a Delaware house party.

On a 90-second clip from the video that The Post viewed, a young woman strongly resembling Ashley is seen taking a red straw from her mouth, bending over a desk, inserting the straw into her nostril and snorting lines of white powder. The camera follows the woman from a few feet away, focusing on her as she moves about the room.

At one point, the woman shouts, “Shut the f- – – up!”

The Post did not buy the videotape but published a story about it yesterday.

Looking through Google News, what’s most noteworthy is all the big name papers that AREN’T covering this story. Among the papers that didn’t find this newsworthy enough to report at this time are the New York Times, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, & Washington Post.

Fair question: If Bristol Palin had been in the same situation, don’t you think this would have been not just a story, but a front page story in every one of those newspapers?

PS: The good news is that post-Obama, being an admitted cokehead won’t stop you from being President — and there are no drug tests for the Commander-in-Chief. So, if Ashley Biden is dreaming of being President one day, her hopes are still alive as long as she didn’t get her personality from dad’s side of the family!
