Republican Senator Assisting Democrats In Humiliating Trump – Creating Bill To Prevent Him From Firing Mueller

Trump campaigned on a promise to Drain The Swamp and the Swamp keeps trying their hardest to make it impossible for him to do his job properly. Washington, D.C. never wanted Trump to win the Presidency because they knew with Trump in charge, everyone who was a useless bandwagon-hopping leech would be banished and lose their massive six-figure incomes which they earned by being sniveling rats.

Trump has to fight not only the Democrats and the media, but also the Republicans who don’t want Trump to make their lives more difficult by requiring them to do work and be responsible. And now we can point to one particular Republican-sponsored venture that is making it nearly impossible for Trump to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller from his job. In the past few weeks under Mueller, there have been multiple leaks of sensitive information that deal with national security, including phone calls between Trump and the leaders of Mexico and Russia and Trump’s personal thoughts on where he might like to go next with Afghanistan.

Two members of the Senate Judiciary Committee are moving to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s job, putting forth new legislation that aims to ensure the integrity of current and future independent investigations.

Republican Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Democratic Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware plan to introduce the legislation Thursday. The bill would allow any special counsel for the Department of Justice to challenge his or her removal in court, with a review by a three-judge panel within 14 days of the challenge.

The bill would apply retroactively to May 17, 2017 — the day Mueller was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to investigate allegations of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and possible ties between Russia and Donald Trump’s campaign.

This is obviously a measure to keep Trump from removing Mueller, even though it’s obvious that every national security leak is directly due to Mueller and his hiring practices. This is how badly the Republicans want Trump to fail. This is how badly the Republicans in D.C. want to keep their fat jobs and army of flunkies. This is how badly the Republicans want to look good to the Democrats, so they can keep getting invited to their cocktail parties. They’re willing to ignore national security and to keep a major leaker in his position.

And still, with job numbers going up, Trump manages to get some of his agenda going, even with all the time he has to spend getting the Republicans to stop playing dirty.
