Evidence of Reverse Discrimination Was So ‘Overwhelming’ That a Jury Awarded White Victim More Than $1 Million

A police officer was awarded $1.35 million in his racial discrimination suit [1]against the town of Freeport, New York. The jury agreed there was “overwhelming” evidence that Christopher Barrella’s race cost him the job.

What makes this case unique is that Christopher Barrella is white.

A Long Island jury sided with Lt. Christopher Barrella after he claimed: that then-Mayor Andrew Hardwick overlooked him to become chief of police so that he could name a Hispanic candidate to the position instead.

Barella’s legal team presented evidence showing that Hardwick moved to change rules to allow Miguel Bermudez, at the time an Hispanic lieutenant, to apply for the chief position.: Bermudez at the time did not have enough time in grade as a lieutenant to apply for the position.

The left not only denies “reverse racism” against whites exists, but claims the very concept is racist. But this is pretty damning evidence that it’s real, and real people are suffering the consequences.
