Hillary Takes Aim At Obama’s Kindergarten Hijinks And Touts Her Experience At Being Married To Bill Clinton Again

The Associated Press[1] has an article out called, “Clinton Cranks Up Rhetoric Against Obama,” and boy is it a doozy. Here’s how it starts,

“Hillary Rodham Clinton suggested Monday that Barack Obama has too little experience and perhaps too much ambition, pressing an increasingly aggressive campaign against her chief rival for the Democratic presidential nomination.”

What’s funnier: Hillary Clinton criticizing someone else for being too ambitious or Hillary Clinton criticizing someone else for having, “too little experience?”

Next comes this,

“Both candidates were in Iowa, one month before the nation’s leadoff caucuses with new polls showing Obama had whittled away her early lead and they were virtually tied among Democrats in the state.

“So you decide which makes more sense: Entrust our country to someone who is ready on day one … or to put America in the hands of someone with little national or international experience, who started running for president the day he arrived in the U.S. Senate,” Clinton said.”

Hillary Clinton would be “ready on day one?” Based on what? Her experience at picking out China patterns for the White House? All the times she laid near Bill while he was making important decisions before drifting off?

Can you imagine anyone even trying to peddle something this ridiculous under other circumstances? If Tom Brady was hurt in practice and couldn’t quarterback the Patriots for a few weeks, could you see someone suggesting that they put his wife in as quarterback because she’d be “ready on day one?” After all, she was married to the man who made all those decisions on the field, therefore she must also be good at making those same decisions, right? Stop laughing — Hillary has made that a central part of her campaign and apparently a lot of liberals are buying it.

Then we get to the incredible pettiness of the glacier’s latest attacks on Obama,

“Over the weekend, the Clinton camp sent reporters a memo taking Obama to task for saying he hadn’t been planning for years to run for president – unlike “some of the other candidates.”

On the contrary, the Clinton folks said, he’d made his plans clear to law school friends and even wrote an essay as a young child saying that was his ambition.

After an event in Iowa on Monday, Obama was asked to comment and said, “No.”

But then he said, “It’s silly season. I understand she’s been quoting my kindergarten teacher in Indonesia.” He then walked out of the room without responding to additional shouted questions.

Elsewhere in Iowa, Edwards mocked the Clinton campaign for sniping at Obama about his presidential ambitions.

“It’s like, boy, you can tell you’re getting close to the caucuses,” said Edwards in Waterloo.

“I want to confess to all of you right now,” Edwards said. “In third grade I wanted to be two things: I wanted to be a cowboy and I wanted to be Superman.”

Rumor has it that Obama wanted to be President in Kindergarten and an astronaut in 2nd Grade. Maybe Clinton will use that to attack him for flip flopping right after she brags again about how incredibly “experienced” she is because she was lucky enough to hitch her wagon to Bill Clinton’s star.

PS: People give Hillary Clinton too much credit for being a great campaigner. Her campaign has actually been extremely amateurish and mistake ridden over the last few weeks.

Update #1: There’s a breaking story[2] on the wire that may finish Barack Obama’s campaign once and for all,

“This just in from the Clinton Campaign…The Clinton campaign has discovered a disturbing past in Obama. It seems 2 little girls from 2nd grade have confirmed that Obama pushed them off the swings during recess in the summer of 1968.”

PS: Yes, this is just a joke — for the moment — after all, the Clinton campaign hasn’t had time to put out any press releases for the day, yet.
