It’s Not The Jewish Lobby: If you read the Muslim press there is this idea floating around that the American people are being given a bad impression of Islam by the American “Zionist controlled” press. Well even if the press were “Zionist controlled” they wouldn’t need to do anything but report the news to put Islam in a bad light. Let me give you a quick tally of just some of the “Muslim related” stories that have broken lately…

The MUSLIM terrorists we’re at war with, al-Queda said there were going to be terrorist attacks against us on July 4th as well a video from old tall, dark, and ugly himself, Osama Bin Laden. Unfortunately, he was apparently too busy being eaten by worms at Tora Bora to make it. However, there was an “attack” by an Egyptian MUSLIM in LA. While it still hasn’t been determined whether he was affiliated with a terrorist organization or not, he did have a Read the Koran[1] bumper sticker on his car. Speaking of terrorist groups, the MUSLIM[2] terrorist group Hamas and another MUSLIM[3] terrorist group, al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades recently suggested that killing Americans was a great idea. A MUSLIM[4] Pakistani Tribal Council last week also thought it would be a great idea to have a woman gang raped because her eleven year old brother was guilty of walking with a woman from a “higher class tribe.” Furthermore, Louis Farrakhan, one of the most prominent MUSLIMS[5] in the US, went to Iraq, a nation run by our sworn MUSLIM enemy, and said, “the MUSLIM American people are praying to the almighty God to grant victory to Iraq.”

Now in this same period of time, the number of threatened terrorist attacks, wishes for Iraqi victory, and endorsements of gang rape made by Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Catholics, Sikhs, Baptists, Falun Gong members, etc, etc, that I heard about was zero. Not that practitioners of these religions are flawless or never do anything wrong, but other religions seem to be much more sensitive about what’s being done in the name of their faith. For example, if a Mormon came out and said that the Mormon faith advocated murdering women and children over land disputes, what do you think the reaction would be? That’s right, they’d be verbally shredded the way the Catholic Church has been for months and the way Jerry Falwell was after his stupid 911 comments.

That is what the Muslim world’s reaction to terrorism is missing; a sense of outrage and a willingness to unconditionally condemn terrorism. Yes there have been some people who have spoken out against terrorism in the Muslim community, but they’re outnumbered 10 to 1 at least by prominent Muslims speaking out in favor of terrorism either explicitly or implicitly. This has already had a tremendous impact on the way people view Islam and it’s only going to get worse over time unless Muslims get serious about standing up to the vast numbers of pro-terrorist Muslims out there who say Islam condones terrorism.
