Teen ‘beat grandmother to death with a baseball bat because she wouldn’t take him to a store to buy cigarettes’

Georgia teen was so enraged that his grandmother wouldn’t take him to buy cigarettes he beat her to death with a baseball bat, said police. JeNorman Bland, 18, of Butts County, has been charged with murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and armed robbery in connection to the death of his grandmother.

His grandmother’s name has yet to be released. According to authorities, Bland told police that he had gone to see his grandmother to ask for a ride to the store. However she was already preparing to go to work. This so enraged Bland that he went outside, got a baseball bat, then went back into the house to start chasing and hitting her.

‘She was struck multiple times with a baseball bat,’ Butts County Sheriff Gray Long said in an interview with local radio, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution[3] reported.

After beating her, he stole her car.

He was eventually arrested by Griffin police.

‘He confessed to the murder,’ said Long.

We have spent the last 2 decades allowing the public education system take over the moral training of our children. A system where there are no losers or winners. Where achievers are discouraged and humanist ideas of sameness are encouraged. It comes as no surprise then that a teen would think that his cigarettes are more important than his grandmother going to work or even living for that matter. Beware of the indoctrination of the this system… occurrences like this are becoming less rare.
