The White House Reaches Out To Bloggers

by John Hawkins | September 26, 2006 2:55 pm

Today was a big day for the blogosphere, because to the best of my knowledge, it’s the first time the White House has ever invited bloggers to a signing ceremony.

It was for the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act[1], which was pushed hard by the blogosphere, in particular the Porkbusters[2] crowd.

Over at Human Events[3], Rob Bluey has info and a pic on which bloggers actually attended.

PS: In case you’re wondering, I did get an invitation, which was very flattering, but I wasn’t able to make it.
