Teens filmed, laughed while disabled man slowly drowned, authorities say [VIDEO]

This is horrible.

Authorities in Florida are now reporting that they have discovered a group of teenagers who witnessed a disabled man drowning in a retention pond on July 9th and instead of offering help, filmed him drown while you can hear the teens laugh and shout at the man.

Jamel Dunn was 32.

His body was recovered on July 14, two days after his fiance reported that he was missing.

As reported in Florida Today:

…police later found the badly decomposed body of the man — identified as Jamel Dunn — July 12. Police said Dunn, who was heavily tattooed, was last seen wearing a black shirt emblazoned with the phrase ‘I’m Blessed,’ and a red hat that read “Only God can judge me,” drowned.

Foul play was not suspected. His fiancée filed a missing person report after he failed to turn up at home in Cocoa. Then, after the body was found last Friday, a family friend saw the video on social media and turned it over to police. The cell phone video then gave detectives insight into what happened the day Dunn disappeared.

You can view the video at the bottom.

As reported at Fox News:

In the video, which was published by the Florida Today newspaper Thursday, the teens can be heard laughing at Dunn as he splashes futilely in the water and screams for help.

“Get out the water, you gonna die,” yells one, while another yells, “ain’t nobody fixing to help you, you dumb (expletive).” As Dunn disappears under the water, one of the teens says, “Oh, he just died.”

Investigators say none of the teens — all between 14 and 16 years old — called 911 to report Dunn’s drowning or tried to help the man.

“They just laughed the whole time,” said a spokesperson for the Cocoa Police Department. “He was just screaming for someone to help him.”
