Who doesn’t love going for a drive? It’s one of our favorite pastimes. We’ve driven a lot of places, had some great times and we’ve seen some truly odd things. This driver got the scare and shock of his life[1] in Canada as he was just cruising along, without a care in the world. Suddenly, a tire came flying at his windshield, and face I might add, at high, bone-breaking, skull-crushing speed. There was no way to avoid it. He reflexively ducked as the tire slammed into his sunroof. It’s a miracle the guy is okay.

There’s no way to watch the video below and not cringe. We’ve actually had a chair come flying off the back of a truck at us on a trip. Not sure how we avoided it, but hubby danced and missed it. No such luck here. Wonder what the tire came flying off of? That’s one sure way to wake you up while driving. At least this freak accident had a relatively happy ending. The guy had no time to think or to even have his life flash before his eyes – suddenly his vision was full of heavy duty rubber and tread coming right at him. Any day you walk away from that kind of accident is a good day indeed.
