Finally, a sane ruling by a judge! D.C. Circuit Judge Richard J. Leon just ruled that states may require that voters show proof of citizenship to vote. The ruling effects Kansas, Alabama and Georgia, but at least 12 other states are expected to use it as precedent to keep illegal immigrants and refugees from voting. It has liberals furious. The leftist League of Women Voters joined the Obama Administration’s lawsuit to block voter ID laws in those three states and it backfired big time. Good. The judge also had a sense of humor… he pointed out getting ID might be a bit inconvenient, but it pales in comparison to explaining to the average citizen how the [Affordable Care Act] or tax code works. Oh, so very true. It is not hard to get a driver’s license or an ID card… if you are legal and a citizen. Checkmate.

D.C. Circuit Judge Richard J. Leon ruled that while it may be “inconvenient” to require proof of citizenship – and it may be a bit harder to get people to register to vote – it’s not “insurmountable” and it’s certainly harder than explaining ObamaCare.

“The organizational plaintiffs and their members will undoubtedly have to expend some additional time and effort to help individuals,” Judge Leon wrote. “But let’s be candid: doing so pales in comparison to explaining to the average citizen how the [Affordable Care Act] or tax code works!”

The case is about three states specifically – Kansas, Alabama and Georgia – but the ruling is expected to have a wide impact as many states have been trying to clamp down on voter fraud.

I’m sure this is something Hillary Clinton does not like in the least. But then again, I doubt the Republicans like it either. Both sides have fought for the illegal vote. This will benefit the Republican nominee, or at least you would think it would. Who knows at this point? I applaud Judge Leon for ruling with the states and against the Obama Administration. Voter fraud just took a big hit, although I’m sure it won’t stop these Progressives from trying to rig the election. It never ends.
