Frightening Democratic Incompetence: No Need To Interrogate Bin Laden?

I’d be perfectly happy if Osama Bin Laden caught a bullet to the brain, got hit with the business end of a missile, or if a few of our GI’s were just to up and decide to impale the son-of-a-b*tch on a sharp stick for the fun of it.

However, if we do capture Osama Bin Laden alive, obviously, he might have some intelligence information that we could use to save American lives. You waterboard that dirty sack of sh*t enough times and next thing you know, he’s telling us the names of people in sleeper cells, the locations of terrorist training camps, future ideas for attacks Al-Qaeda is kicking around, etc., etc.

To me, this would seem to be so unbelievably obvious, that it’s hard to understand how anyone could miss it. Well, not only did someone miss it, it was the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee:

If the U.S. captures Osama bin Laden, there’s no need to interrogate him, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee said Thursday.

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the chairman of that committee, said that arguments raised by Republican senators about whether bin Laden would be afforded Miranda rights if he were captured amount to a “red herring.”

“The red herring that my friend [Sen.] Lindsey Graham [R-S.C.] was covering is not realistic,” Leahy said during an appearance on “Washington Journal” on C-SPAN.

“For one thing, capturing Osama bin Laden – we’ve had enough on him, we don’t need to interrogate him,” Leahy added.

The frightening thing about that, folks, is not just that he said it; it’s that he’s a man the Democrats have placed in a position of high responsibility.

These guys are so isolated from reality in Washington, D.C. that even the guys running the committee don’t have the same kind of basic understanding of what’s going on, that some redneck in Itchy Behind, Arkansas does.

Find a guy so dumb that he has trouble grasping the intricacies of his job shoveling pig crap and he can still figure out that Al-Qaeda wants to kill us and if we capture someone like Bin Laden, we should find out what he knows. But, the Democrats in D.C? That’s out of their pay grade. God help us all with the sort of “leaders” we have in D.C.
