A chief justice for NYS once famously said a district attorney, “a grand jury can indict a ham sandwich!” Meaning that the process is not like a regular court trail whereby both sides present a case. It’s only the prosecution side laying out a case and asking the grand jury there’s enough to go to a trial. Levin expalns what happened in Texas.
