Knowing that the “Dream Act” for amnesty of illegal alien college students is going to be very unpopular and hard to pass, (See links to previous on UNCOVERAGE.net linked below) Democrats have very cynically held off on voting for legislation for 1200 Haitian earthquake orphans who are being adopted here in the United States. Apparently, there: was a move underway last week to TIE the Haitian orphan bill to the DREAM Act.
Think of it…if Republicans vote AGAINST the Dream Act (and they should and so should Democrats) they would also be voting AGAINST the orphans.
