Nanny kills two children, ‘Oh, my God, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for what I’ve done’ – Yet blames parents!

A nanny allegedly stabbed two little children she was caring for to death in their bathtub in an apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side,  six-year-old Lucia Krim and two-year-old Leo Krim. Yoselyn Ortega told authorities the little girl attempted to fight back. Ortega then tried to slit her own throat with a knife, but failed.  According to papers filed in court, she exclaimed afterwards, “Oh, my God, I’m sorry. I’m sorry for what I’ve done. Relieve me of my misery.” Now she is facing trial and blaming the parents. 

According to the Daily Mail,

She told authorities she hurt the children because she was having money problems and was angry at the parents.

She said her schedule constantly shifted, she had to act as a cleaning lady though she didn’t want to and she missed an appointment with ‘the psych,’ according to the papers.

The parents are devastated, and at a fundraiser for their nonprofit said that they will miss their children forever. “‘We are just heartbroken,” Kevin Krim said. “But they inspire us every day as well. Their lives give us a purpose.”

This sickening actions of this heartless woman are a reflection of our increasingly self-entitled mentality the left has fostered.  Ortega believes she should be entitled not to have to work very hard like the rest of us. In fact, there are plenty of jobs a lot harder than taking care of children and cleaning around the house, which require longer hours. Life is tough for most of us, but instead of teaching people they should be entitled to others paying for them, society should foster an attitude of pride in taking care of your own needs. Otherwise, we will continue to generate monsters like this.
