In another Obama scandal, this one involving stolen valor, Obama’s new chief of the Veterans Administration has now had to admit he lied when making past claims that he was in the U.S. Special Forces. Does ANYONE tell the truth in this criminal administration?
It is amazing the blase attitude he has about this, too. He said he was just “incorrect” when he claimed he was in the U.S. Special Forces. INCORRECT?? Try lied out his rear end!
Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald has apologized for making false claims about having served in the U.S. military’s elite special operations forces, the latest scandal to hit the besieged department.
The incident, first reported Monday by the Huffington Post, took place last month as the new secretary participated in an overnight count of homeless veterans in the Los Angeles area. The event is an annual survey of the homeless population, with volunteers engaging with individuals living on the streets to learn about their backgrounds and challenges.
“While I was in Los Angeles, engaging a homeless individual to determine his Veteran status, I asked the man where he had served in the military,” McDonald said in a statement released to Military Times late Monday night. “He responded that he had served in special forces. I incorrectly stated that I had been in special forces. That was inaccurate and I apologize to anyone that was offended by my misstatement.
“Misstatement”? It was no mere misstatement. It was a blatant lie.
So, Obama puts just another liar in a position of high authority. Man, this president just makes everything worse with his every decision, doesn’t he?
One last thing, here. IF McDonald was a Republican we’d never hear the end of this story. Since this liar is an Obamaite few media outlets will even report this.
