Reverend Franklin Graham of the Samaritan’s Purse joined the Christian Broadcast Network’s 700 Club and discussed the imminent threat of Christian persecution on American soil, claiming Obama and his administration will be responsible for it due to their policies.
Graham alleges that Obama’s foreign policies are being influenced by Muslim groups that the White House has sought insight from.
“Our foreign policy has a lot of influence now from Muslims,” Graham said. “We see the prime minister of Israel being snubbed by the president, the White House and by the Democrats and it’s because of the influence of Islam. They hate Israel and they hate Christians, and so the storm is coming, I believe.”
Graham describes the “storm” as one being brought on directly by Obama.
“We’re going to see persecution in this country, because our president is very sympathetic to Islam,” Graham said. “And the reason I say that … is because his father was a Muslim, gave him a Muslim name – Barack Hussein Obama. His mother married another Muslim man, they moved to Indonesia, he went to Indonesian schools.”
“So growing up, his frame of reference and his influence as a young man was Islam,” he continued. “It wasn’t Christianity, [it was] Islam.”
If Christians did start being persecuted in the United States, the most Obama would probably do is read a teleprompter with a sternly worded speech before heading off to a golf game. His problem isn’t that he’s too sympathetic to Islam, it’s that he’s apathetic.
