Saying, “I’m Ben Carson and I am a candidate for president of the United States,” Doctor Ben Carson has announced his run for the GOP nomination for president in 2016.
A few minutes after 10AM central and after introducing his children and wife, Carson made his announcement saying that even though the USA is hard pressed, there sure is still a lot of people around the world that want to come here.
Carson went on to describe his hard early life growing up poor and in a bad neighborhood in Detroit.
Carson becomes the sixth GOP candidate for president.
