Liberals have whipped themselves into a frenzy over Kim Davis’ refusal to issue same-sex marriage licenses. But Ted Cruz is pointing out the hypocrisy here, saying that if Kim Davis is getting punished for not following the law, then Obama should too.

Earlier today Kentucky Democratic County Clerk Kim Davis was jailed for not signing gay marriage licenses.
Today Senator Ted Cruz put out this message on the controversy:
“Where is the call for President Obama to resign for defying our immigration laws, our welfare reform laws, and even his own Obamacare?“
Obama and the mayors of sanctuary cities all across the country are breaking the law every single day by allowing illegal immigrants to enter this country, break our laws, and not only be allowed to remain here, but escape punishment. Yet no one seems to be screaming for them to resign their positions — and the laws they’re breaking mean that Americans lives are actually at risk. The only thing at risk by Kim Davis not signing a marriage license is some hurt feelings.
