Animals nurturing their young is cute, but animals nurturing human babies may be even cuter. A Labrador was caught on video taking care of a baby.
The Daily Mail reports,
The heart-warming video, which is believed to have been filmed in America, shows the baby catching up on his sleep with his face down on the sofa.
The attentive pet Labrador approaches, and after noticing that the baby does not have his blanket wrapped around him, sets about putting that right.
The dog uses his nose to carefully flick the blanket from the sofa so that it covers the baby’s tiny body.
Pretty amazing the Labrador knows it’s a helpless baby and needs its blanket covering. It’s heartwarming to see this cross-species affection. Watch the dog in action below.
