A drone took a video of people sliding down one of the world’s best natural waterslides, and it looks so inviting the video has gone viral. Rere Rockslide is a natural rock formation about 70m long in the Wharekopae River in New Zealand’s North Island.
The Daily Mail reports on how the video was created,
The trip, and the video, almost didn’t happen.
Mr Ruru, a father-of-three, and his family had planned to head to the beach on Sunday.
But it was too windy, and they made their way to Rere Rockslide instead, giving him an opportunity to shoot the video which has since been viewed and shared around the world countless times.
…
The site is popular with both Kiwis and overseas tourists, and it is routinely featured in ‘must-do’ lists in New Zealand.
Let’s hope lawyers and bureaucrats don’t take over and restrict the natural fun due to safety reasons. Obviously, the folks in the video are having a great time and staying safe, but you can always expect big, meddling government to step in and eventually ruin anything fun.
