For some strange reason, I don’t have ANY sympathy for this guy. NONE. Whether you’re happy about your President or not, you don’t go onto your social media account and threaten to assassinate them.
I thought everyone knew this, but apparently common sense isn’t a flower that grows in everyone’s garden.
He says his comments were a joke and intended for family and friends only. Matt Harrigan, the now-Former CEO of PacketSled, also claims that he was drunk and feels “stupid” about what he said.
Just for a little perspective, think back to a time when you were more drunk than you’ve ever been. Did it ever cross your mind to become violent, or discuss murdering someone in detail?
Me either.
I would also like to point out that I have a great sense of humor, but “I’m going to kill the President. elect.” and “Nope. Getting a sniper rifle and perching myself where it counts. Find a bedroom in the whitehouse that suits you mother******. I’ll find you,” don’t exactly tickle my funny bone.
Now he says he’s getting death threats and his family has gone into hiding because of that.

I’m sorry, but this surpassed “stupid” a long time ago and careened right into Criminalville. I’m glad he’s lost his job and has had to face repercussions for his actions, but I do not condone the death threats. This is not who we are. Let the law and the Secret Service take care of it.
