Robber Picks WRONG House: 61-yr-old Vietnam Vet Stabs Armed Invader Over & Over Dead With His Kitchen Knife

There is nothing sweeter than stories of scumbags who picked the wrong people to try and victimize, is there? Here we have one from Georgia where a criminal tried to rob a house and got what he deserved instead of what he wanted.

The incident occurred in Dougherty County, Georgia and the homeowner feels bad that he had to kill the intruder, but…

A man says he is sorry that he killed the man who attacked him during an early Friday morning home invasion robbery attempt. David Stewart says he was fighting for his life.

Investigators found the body of Alfred Gilliard Jr. in some woods about 20 yards from Stewart’s home.

Dougherty County Police arrested Gilliard’s wife Trisha Gilliard as an accessory to the armed robbery and are still searching for a second suspected robber.

David Stewart is a 61-year-old Vietnam veteran, who knew Gilliard. Stewart said he’s having a hard time knowing that he took Gilliard’s life, even if it was in self defense.

“Hell, I cried my butt off this morning just thinking about it,” said Stewart. The man’s gone. He’ll never come back. And he did wrong.”

Stewart has a black eye and cuts on his hands and arms after that battle Friday morning.

Yes, it is a shame that there is a loss of life, granted… but better the robber who was committing a crime than a wholly innocent homeowner!
