With the new cable news ratings reports we once again see that MSNBC has the worst ratings record in the history of big name cable news. This period MSNBC’s ratings continue its downward spiral with yet another record low.
It has become clear that clothes driers in Laundromats have more viewers than MSNBC…
Despite an insanely busy news month (Baltimore riots, Amtrak crash) that saw double digit ratings increases at CNN and Fox News, MSNBC collapsed a full -14% over this same time last year in both total and demo (25-54 years of age) viewers. May was the worst month MSNBC has had since December of 2007.
Here’s MSNBC’s monthly average:
Primetime (Mon-Sun):463,000 total viewers / 125,000 A25-54
Total Day Mon-Sun): 299,000 total viewers / 83,000 A25-54
Though CNN’s ratings jumped more than +50% over this same time last year, the left-wing Hate Network only looks good compared to its own dismal 2014 performance and that of MSNBC.
…As usual, and for the gajillionth month in a row, Fox News nearly crushed MSNBC and CNN combined in both total and demo viewers.
Fox is a news monster!! Ya gotta love it.
