Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is upset at anyone who would question appointing Muslim Andre Carson to the House Intelligence Committee. Schiff claims it is “un-American” to wonder if it is a good idea to have on our intelligence committee a guy who belongs to the one religion threatening the world. But this is the same Andre Carson who has taken big donations from the terror-connected Muslim group CAIR and the same Carson who once said that “Allah will not allow” America to stop Muslims from doing what they want to do.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said those who criticize the appointment of Democratic Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) to the Intelligence Committee because he is a Muslim are “un-American.”
Schiff, who is the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said he has been “deeply disturbed” by the reaction by some to Carson’s appointment last week.
“I am deeply disturbed that since his appointment to the committee, Congressman Carson has been subject to vicious, anti-Muslim attacks online and in social media, questioning his loyalty to our country solely because of his faith.”
Schiff added, “These un-American and unfounded smears have no place in our national discourse and are contemptible.”
But there is good reason to question why Carson should be on a committee that deals in sensitive terror info. It is Carson who has taken thousands in political donations from the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR has been noted as supporting and raising cash for terrorists.
Carson is also the same guy who wants our schools to be modeled after Islamic indoctrination schools.
Rep. André Carson has attracted suspicion for his public statements, including a 2012 Islamic Circle of North America convention where he said America’s schools should be modeled after Qur’anic madrassas.
Moments later he warned undercover law enforcement skulking around the event looking for ‘secret meetings’ that ‘Allah will not allow you to stop us.’
And THIS guy is now privy to sensitive intelligence info? I hope the FBI keeps tabs on him to make sure he doesn’t just hand over this sensitive info to his “friends in Allah”!
