After the terror attacks on a French newspaper last week, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul pointed out that it is probably time for France to reconsider its loose immigration laws. Well, that’s putting it mildly!

Paul made his comments on a recent Sean Hannity show. He suggested that in part the country’s immigration laws could be blamed for the terror attacks.
“You’ve got to secure the country, and that means maybe that every Muslim immigrant that wishes to come to France shouldn’t have an open door to come,” he said. “And so those are immigration policies both for France, and many of these other countries that had old colonies in predominantly Muslim areas now. It’s also my concern here. I think our border is a danger to attack, as well as our student visa program.”
“Think about it, I haven’t seen any Christians or Jews dragging people of Islamic faith through the streets, I am seeing the opposite. I’m seeing Christians beheaded, I’m seeing people who say anything about Islam being shot, unarmed, being shot,” he added.
“And so, yeah, should the rules always protect everyone’s rights? Yeah. But I’m not too worried right now that we’ve infringed on their rights. I’m worried that Christians and Jews are being killed around the world,” Paul continued.
Yeah, putting it mildly, indeed.
