Well at least one top government official sees the global warming religion for what it is. A top advisor to Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott boldly asserted that global warming is nothing but a left-wing scheme to get control of the world’s governments and to create a new world order.
One of the claims that Aussie advisor Maurice Newman noted is that “95%” of climate models have been completely wrong. He went on to say that “Global warming is the hook” and is just the excuse used to institute global “concentrated political authority” by the United Nations.
Newman didn’t mince words in a recent interview reported by the Japan Times.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s top business adviser on Friday claimed climate change was a ruse encouraged by the United Nations to create a new authoritarian world order under its control.
Maurice Newman, chairman of the Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Council, said the real agenda was “concentrated political authority. Global warming is the hook.”
In a column for The Australian newspaper to coincide with a visit by U.N. climate chief Christiana Figueres, he added that the world had been “subjected to extravagance from climate catastrophists for close to 50 years.”
“It’s a well-kept secret, but 95 percent of the climate models we are told prove the link between human CO2 emissions and catastrophic global warming have been found, after nearly two decades of temperature stasis, to be in error,” he said, without providing evidence.
Newman, a former chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Corp., is a known climate change skeptic but he went further Friday by accusing the U.N. of being involved in a scam.
“Figueres is on record saying democracy is a poor political system for fighting global warming. Communist China, she says, is the best model,” he wrote.
As Jim Hoft pointed out, even the UN’s own Climate Chief, Christiana Figueres, fully admitted that global warming was a communist scheme to “intentionally transform” the world.
These commies and the UN want us all living back in the Stone Age.
Anyway, it’s too bad our own officials aren’t this brave.
