As Roseanne calls the Tea Partiers slaves to the eeeeeevil Koch Brothers, Nugent sets her straight that Tea Partiers are just you and me looking to keep government honest.
Nugent appeared on CN with Anderson Cooper last week.
But, I’d like to set one thing straight. The Koch brothers have never, ever funded a tea party event. Not once. They have funded groups like Americans for Prosperity, but that group isn’t a tea party group. AFP was around long before the tea party. So, it is an outright lie that the Kochs fund the tea party.
